Strongly committed to modern and contemporary art in Lebanon, Galerie Janine Rubeiz took its roots in the precious legacy of Dar Al Fan, a highly qualified art space and cultural platform, under the direction of Janine Rubeiz from 1967 to 1976. The present Galerie carrying her name and run by her daughter Nadine Begdache, holds strongly to the belief that cultural development is an integral part of the process of socio-political maturity in the country. The Galerie contributes in preserving and consolidating a living testimony of the Lebanese art masters of art during the second half of the 20th century, as well as promoting the works of talented young Lebanese artists. Pursuing the concern for openness and universality, the Galerie stages frequent exhibitions for regional and international artists. It has also been participating since 1997 in international art fairs in European capitals (Strasbourg, Paris, Geneva, London), in the Arab world (Art Paris/ Abu Dhabi, Art Dubai/Dubai) and in Beirut.
