Huguette Caland has always impressed us by her positive energy and eternal renewal. Every exhibition has always been a pleasurable and refreshing adventure with her. Our exchange goes beyond a simple "Artist-gallerist" relation. It is, above all, a personal artistic exchange.

Through her affinities, associations and relations, in three countries, Caland has brought us close to many artists and writers from France and the USA, opening healthy channels for dialogues and exchange.

Needless to mention that Caland has over the past four decades explored many art avenues and has developed her own "ecriture”…

In this exhibition in particular, Caland puts forward links that tie her to this country, to her roots, especially her relation to her father and to her childhood memories with a lot of emotion and affection.
